yes gavin - errol has been here for about 3 years now....he came just after he and benazir hussein got married. (actually they are both the patrons of my ballet school.) they both danced with WA Ballet the first year, then the second year he stayed here while she accepted a job offer from ross stretton at AB, then she came back to perth.

The book deserved to have a fuller review but Dance Expression has a popular readership and covers all forms of dance which affects the space available and style of writing.
I have just read a very interesting scientific study which has been carried out which shows that a group of dance students in general don't suffer from eating disorders in the way described in the book.
[This message has been edited by Gavin (edited March 07, 2001).]

just bumping this up to the top, even though it's slightly old news now, as it has some bearing on the other discussion taking place about ballet teaching in new zealand, and also to refer you to gavin roebuck's outline of the Healthier Dancer conference which he recently attended in london.
gavin's outline is in this conference thread: http://www.criticaldance.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000011.html
