Dancer's dream moves forward with scholarship
Teen awarded $16,000 to attend Ailey school

Patterson was awarded a $16,000 scholarship Saturday at his graduation from Messmer High School. That, in addition to some federally funded college aid, will make it almost certain that Patterson will be able to enroll this fall at Fordham University's certificate program offered in conjunction with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
