Post subject: Schools in Rouen France

I am looking into the possibility of one of my pupils being able to attend classes at a school in the city of Rouen, France whilst she is on a work placement week there later this month. She will be there between the 25 June and 2 July, by which time she will be 17. Presently she is preparing for her elementary RAD examination and this trip unfortunately breaks right into the lead up to her exam.
I would be most grateful to hear from anyone who either knows of or attends classes in central Rouen, where she will be based. Due to her work placement commitment she will only be able to come in the evenings. If it were possible for her to join in with an appropriate class at a local school it would serve the double purpose of helping to maintain her technique at this time and improve her French language skills, the primary reason for this trip.
If you could e-mail me with any relevant details I can forward them onto her parents and make suitable arrangements.
Thanks
Teacher UK
Hi tuk!
You could try searching the french version of the yellow pages... although it's impossible to tell if the schools are actually any good, at least you have a basis for investigation.
The URL is : http://wfa.pagesjaunes.fr/wjpm_pages_jaunes.cgi?
I had a go, and it seemed to work okay.
Bonne chance, I hope you find somewhere suitable!
Birdie. xxx.

Thank you to everyone for your help with my inquiry. I have obtained a list of schools in Rouen and have passed it on to my student. Whether she takes it up or not I don't know, but at least the opportunity is there.
Thanks again
Teacher UK
