Hi there. To make my warm-up sessions a little more interesting for my students - I am putting together a small, portable Dance Gym - Items so far:

1. Pencils to pick up with toes (helps improve foot strength).
2. Tennis Balls to rub under the soles of the feet to massage).
3. Small rubber hoops to circle on wrists to help define muscles in the arms (Ms Kirkland gave me this wonderful idea from her fantastic and well written book -Dancing on my Grave).

Any other Idea's would be greatly appreciated of course. Thank you in advance for your time. :)

Theraband for stretching?
Empty 2L pop bottle (place between legs when sitting and squeeze legs together - great for strengthening adductors).

:D

Thank you very much Shallom. Have now added therabands to my list.
Quick question, with the 2L pop bottles, do you mean for example: 2L plastic soft drink bottles? thanks for that.

Yeah, plastic pop bottles work the best.

I use a long peice of round rubber (sorta like a string of rubber) It has a loop in one end. I put the student foot through so it around their ankle. Then at the bar i sit on the floor and i pull on the rubber and the do battement toundos (sp?) and it helps them with control because they have to make their leg go out slowly not fast, i make it harder byt pulling harder, it also makes it hard for them to pull it back in so they really have to use the inside thigh muscels
