For some children, ballet seems to be an alien and forbidding world. But the Royal Ballet is challenging those preconceptions with its Chance to Dance scheme. I think that is a wonderful out-reach program. Children have a natural love of movement and dance and to express themselves. We need only to offer them different avenues.<P>They also have a natural proclivity to try things and a desire to learn and there also we only need to point the way - with help and encouragement. This program will pay benefits not only to the children and their families, but in a future audience of which they will hopefully become a part.
