Actually, about someone new starting ballet and the books you recommend, i was referring to a 'late starter' in ballet. e.g. A teenager. <BR>Sorry for the miss understanding.<BR>

Elizabeth: I believe earlier you asked if there was a book for the Vaganova method - I was in the book shop this afternoon and I saw one that was on the Vaganova method - translated from the Russian - looked very authentic to me:<P>"Basic Principles of Classic Ballet Russian Technique Agrippina Vaganova<P>Publishers: Dover Publications, New York<BR>ISBN: 0-486-22036-2<P>

basheva, can you tell us a bit more about this book to help identify it? it would be exciting if there is a book which is new to me, but it is also possible that this is a re-titled re-release of one of the two i mentioned...<P>what did it look like? small and thick, rather like a bible?..can't wait to hear!<P>thanks!
