Hi there. It may well pay you to look into exercises that one can perform in order to improve the arch and also foot strength (May be in preference to shoe inserts or mechanical means of improving the arch) Remember: Tendu, Tendu, Tendu. Ever so beneficial. Never force the arch. Always use the metatarsals and also the floor when practicing tendu. you need to use the entire foot. your teacher will be able to show/teach you. Remember: Safe Dance Practice. Foot massage and massaging the arch can also be beneficial. A physiotherapist that has had experience in the dancefield/with dancer's may be able to give you some appropriate exercises as can your teacher. Remember that nothing happens overnight but with practice I am sure you will get there.
