Post subject:  foot arch enhancers

Has anyone seen or tried the foot arch enhancers that one can buy to improve the look of the feet and if so, are they convincing :?:

I've seen arch enhancers offered in a dance catalog. They slip over your feet and under your tights. If they weren't binding in any way (and I'm not sure about this one... :?: ), I suppose it would be okay to wear them. I personally don't like the idea because it might impair the facility of the foot and probably not add that much to the "look" you are trying to achieve...This is just my personal opinion.

I knew of a dancer who wore these and when the foot is flat they look deformed. En pointe they may look ok but when you are not it is evident that they are false. Just my opinion.
