It takes a lot of practice to pirouette well. Some dancers have natural turning ability, which helps, but is not absolutely essential to be able to turn decently. You need to work on your placement, feeling your back come around; your spot; your eye level/gaze; your arm coordination; etc. You will learn to have a different amount of force or impetus for single, double, triple. It helps in "stopping" your turn to think of finishing the pirouette "up", like a spiral going up. This makes the finish or landing of the turn less like a "crash" landing
