Hi,

I used to dance a fair bit (mainly modern and tap) and am in a pantomime of Cinderella.

Our ballroom scene features the song Ascot Gavotte from My Fair Lady.

Obviously we want to put a gavotte with this song but are having trouble finding one to use.

If anyone knows how and could possibly tell me typical moves for a gavotte, I'd be extrememly grateful.

Thanks,

Rubber Ducky

Greetings, rubberducky, and welcome to CriticalDance. I did a little googling and found this: http://www.streetswing.com/histmain/z3gavot.htm

At the bottom of the page is a description of some gavotte steps. I thought this interesting...
