I don't quite know where to start....

I just saw a commercial for "Bella Dancerella", which seems to come with a home barre, an instructional video, and Arthur Murray-type floor mats with numbered footprints.

Quote:
Bella Dancerella makes ballet easy and fun to learn. This complete home ballet studio features a double-sided mat, an easy-to-assemble ballet barre, and a 30 minute 'dance along' DVD or VHS tape for hours of dancing fun!

With Bella's 30 minute DVD and double-sided 'step-to-step' ballet mat, you will learn the basic ballet positions for your left and right foot.

The Bella Dancerella is a wonderful introduction to the exciting world of ballet or for practicing ballet steps learned in formal classes.

Also available it the matching Ballet Tutu and Slippers. One size fits all.

Hmmm, something tells me that the darling girl in the photo didn't learn her pose from the video or floor mat...

They do a tap one too with tap shoes that slip on over your shoes.

I'm sure it is every young girls dream but a bit of a worry.

"One size fits all" ballet shoes.

Why didn't Freed's or Gaynor Minden think of this?

What disturbs me the most about the commercial is the little girl's saying, "Bella taught me how to dance!"
