The new YMCA will not host any major ballet performances, just classes, and the studios should blend seamlessly into the rest of the facility, said [Marblehead-Swampscott YMCA Executive Director Paul] Gorman. Gorman said the relationship should be symbiotic, with the ballet benefiting from the “instant market” the Y provides, and the Y attracting new members from those who initially come for dance lessons.
