Just beat it! Stomper-in-training makes some noise

HAVE ROMPED, and I have stomped, but never professionally.
Never once, while watching the dance-percussion-noise show "Stomp" on one of its many Bay Area visits, has it occurred to me, "Gee, I'd like to give up being a theater critic and become a Stomper!"

I am, to put it politely, rhythmically challenged, self-conscious and on the quiet side — all qualities antithetical to the "Stomp" personality.
