The most vivid characterizations in the piece emerged in the second section, "Sustenance," in which six evils - lust, desire, greed, pride, anger and jealousy - were brought to life in amusing, over-the-top vignettes. Admirably precise dancers, accompanied by four musicians, held nothing back with animated facial expressions that entailed eye rolling and even the occasional smirk.
