Has anyone ever seen this company?? They are based in Ventura county but i'm sure have performed in Los Anegles also. Denise Gibson is the director/choreographer. Her latest creation Viadd (2000) was performed at the TO Civic Center (I think in the Fred Kavli theater). It was a cross between Cirque du Solei and Caberet! Beautiful costuming, wonderful ideas and very entertaining. Viadd is the story of a young girl who finds herself caught in the middle of a dream world with devilish jestures, can-can hooligans & egyptian goddesses. Most of the choreography is based on Egyptian art or modern dance...and a couple of the pieces were just down right hilarious!! This year her newest production might not find itself on a bigger stage for lack of funds, but is based on the evolution of insanity...with a twist!
