It's more notable still when audiences and press are unfamiliar with a Canadian dance form that's been practised for centuries (maybe it's the ghost of old Duncan Scott, still sending out subliminal circulars).

[This message has been edited by Marie (edited May 10, 2001).]

Troupe to rock around the croc hunter
by IAN GERARD for the Australian

Next week his four-member Aboriginal dance troupe will open for INXS at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

They will be part of G'day LA - a week-long event organised by the federal Government to showcase Australian talent.

It's a dream come true for the Cairns-based Tjapukai Aboriginal Park Dancers, who will rub shoulders with some of Hollywood's biggest names before performing for 1200 people.
