Quote:
Cabaret muscles in on the act
by STEPHEN ARMSTRONG for the Sunday Times
The Caesar Twins, Pablo and Pierre, entered the cabaret world by way of circus. The Polish twosome (real twins, by the way) became youth world champions at 17, before joining a German circus. Two and a half years later, a wheel-of-death stunt went horribly wrong, leaving Pablo in a coma. But he defied all odds by making a full recovery. Not surprisingly, he shudders when we discuss his earlier career: “I hate circus,” he says with venom. “Hate it, hate it, hate it.”
As a result, the twins’ show blends song and sex with the more muscular tumbling of the big top. Around them are a cast of attractive singers, dancers and contortionists, who manage to imply erotic encounters.
