A Compas - To The Rhythm

Paco Pena is the master of no frills, no fuss flamenco. With just three dancers and a strong musical focus, A Compas is a wanderlust tour on a sparse stage, through Arabic, Gypsy and Spanish folk traditions, tracking the roots of flamenco dance and music as they are passed from generation to generation.

The result is a potpourri of Andalusian, Middle Eastern, African and Asian influences blended together in an authentic display. The format is simple - the different dances such as the soleareto, the tango and the buleria with musical interludes.
