A complaint many Egyptian dancers have had about Western dancers is their musicality. But they aren't referring to how they fit their steps to the music; rather, they feel the Western dancers don't understand and convey the emotional intent of the music. I tend to agree. But still, I'd be interested in seeing this show. I suspect it represents what I don't like about many American dancers, but it would be nice to be proved wrong.
