Performances were somewhat flat Sat afternoon of this current Broadway production, with even Huey Lewis seemingly losing his voice. Maybe it's the matinee cast but there wasn't a lot of sizzle in this performance, with Mama's role played by understudy Sharon Moore the most disappointing. But the show still has its sex factor and catchy numbers to keep audiences happy.
