Working with the musical offerings of J.S. Bach, the choreographer creates a piece entitled M.O. Brown established herself as one of America’s foremost choreographers while she was a part of the now legendary Judson Dance Theater. Since forming the Trisha Brown Company in 1970, she has become known for the structural rigor and supple kineticism of her dance. Director Mark James uses archival footage from the 60s and 70s to track Brown’s development as a choreographer.
