A major problem was that the live imagery had little identity of its own. Three figures in white (Erin Dudley, Christine Coleman and the company's director, Sara Baird) eventually created a large origami boat, which they rowed to nowhere in Ms. Baird's "Arashi." In her "Io and Leda," the title's allusions to mythology were not discernibly followed up, unless the duet was simply meant to be a meeting between two humans with whom Zeus had had his way.
