Did anyone see the Kennedy Center honors the other night on television? That would be last night 12/29; it was broadcast from Washington. I caught just the tail end of the tribute to Baryshnikov. It appeared that there was a group performing in his honor--was that White Oak? Did anyone see this show and can give us their impression?

trina here is the NY Times article on the TV show. The dance was provided by the Mark Morris Dance Group. Very appropriate as Morris helped Baryshnikov set up 'White Oak' and has provided several pieces for the Company:
http://www.nytimes.com/2000/12/27/arts/27WERT.html
