Post subject: What's hot?

As you can see from my London Newsletter (click on the link at the top of the previous page), October saw a lot of great modern dance(we say contemporary in the UK, but when in Rome....). Just the other day I saw another high quality performance from Russell Maliphant, an innovative choreographer and charismatic performer, who is highly regarded by critics and dance professionals.
So, what's hot in your part of the US or, if you're from elsewhere, in your own country?
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited 11-05-1999).]

A lot is hot in SF. Petronio is in town, doing a world premiere on Michael Nyman music. Diablo Ballet just did a stylish program in Bekerley, including that piece based on ALS-stricken Jason Becker's guitar concerto that was featured very heavily on CNN. And Smuin is kicking their new season with an updated Les Noces. And yet many many more to come in November.
