Secrecy in the Snow, Followed by Desire in the Flesh
by JOHN ROCKWELL for the new York Times

Both women are interested in the kind of theatrical dance wherein narrative is implied but never specified, and both give every evidence of having thought deeply and fruitfully about their intentions. To this taste, neither quite manages to communicate to fully satisfying effect on the intuitive, emotional plane to which dance is so well suited. But both women's dances are so smart and so well executed and so full of stimulating invitations for thought that the evening is still well worth attending.

In the Cold
Two smart young choreographers tackle dark journeys
by DEBORAH JOWITT

Baldwin shapes a few images and ideas with clear yet delicate strokes. She delineates a landscape of mystery and hidden perils like that of a dark fairy tale in which children driven from their homes journey through a desolate forest and thwart magic spells but possibly don't survive.

...

While Baldwin creates almost no passages that could be called "dancing," in Wet Road Weare uses a well-known dance form, the tango, to express struggles for dominance between partners.
