Today, Nikolaj Hübbe announced the programme for his first season as artistic director:

Giselle (new version by Hübbe and Sorella Englund)

Come teddy bears, now we dance! (new young children's ballet by Thomas Lund)

Othello (new version by Louise Midjord)

Cinderella (Tim Rushton)

Onegin (Cranko)

Nutcracker (Greve)

Romeo & Juliet (Neumeier)

B for Balanchine
*Symphony in C
*Symphony in 3
*La Sonnambula

Don Quixote (Alonso)

Ballet Master's choice
*New piece by Jacopo Godani
*Hübbe's choice of two pieces from the Hot! Hot! Hot! program

Cinderella and the Balanchine program will be shown in the Opera House, while the Director's Choice program and Othello will be in the new playhouse.

Guest companies include the Cullberg Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater, Lyon Opera Ballet, Tivoli Pantomime Ballet and the Uppercut Dance Theatre.

Not a single Bournonville selection?

No. It has been mentioned elsewhere that apparently Hübbe said that he wanted to do new productions and he didn't have a large enough budget for the coming season.
