James Jordan has been appointed ballet master for the 2014-15 season. Jordan is a stager of the works of Antony Tudor and comes from the Kansas City Ballet. Carrie Seidman reports for the Herald-Tribune.

Sarasota Ballet will perform Sir Frederick Ashton's "Les Patineurs," October 18-19, 2014 at New York's City Center as part of the 2014 Fall for Dance. Carrie Seidman reports for the Herald-Tribune.

In the Bradenton Herald, Marty Clear previews the February 27-28, 2015 performances of "Balanchine, Ashton and Nureyev" at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota. The program includes Balanchine's "Apollo," Ashton's "Jazz Calendar" and Rudolf Nureyev's "Raymonda Act III."
