Ballet hires a new director FORMERLY OF DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM; WILL FOCUS ON SCHOOL

The Lexington Ballet has tapped Luis Dominguez, a veteran of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, to be its new director.
Dominguez, 39, was the first Hispanic soloist with the company, which he joined when he was 18.
He replaces Lexington Ballet artistic director Frank Galvez and school director Lucia Montero, who are leaving at the end of this season.
