Kansas City Ballet opens the 2010-11 season with a program of Balanchine's "Mozartiana" and "Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux," Bruce Marks' "Lark Ascending" and Balanchine's "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue," Thursday October 14 through Sunday, October 17 at the Lyric Theatre. Lisa Jo Sagolla previews the program in the Kansas City Star.

The Kansas City Ballet presents "Giselle," Thursday, March 10 through Sunday, March 13, 2010. In the Kansas City Star, Patrick Neas profiles Kimberly Cowen, who will be one of two (former Pacific Northwest Ballet corps member Tempe Ostergren is the other) who will perform the title role.
