In the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Richard Storm reviews Sarasota Ballet's performance on Friday, February 19, 2010. National Ballet of Canada Principals Bridgett Zehr (a Sarasota native) and Zdenek Konvalina performed a work by Christopher Wheeldon set to Prokofiev.

In the Longboat Observer, Heidi Kurpiela interviews Sarasota Ballet dancers Danielle Brown and Ashley Ellis, who will be performing the role of The Firebird in Yuri Possokov's version of that ballet, October 29-31, 2010.

Wade Tatangelo offers a brief preview, but includes an amusing anecdote about how artistid director Ian Webb met choreographer Yuri Possokhov, as well as a photograph of Oregon Ballet Theatre dancers Alison Roper and Artur Sultanov who premiered this version of "Firebird."
