In The Globe and Mail, Fiona Morrow has a 90 minute interview with choreographer James Kudelka while he is in Vancouver to set a work on Ballet British Columbia:

Ho-hum, the usual odd chat with James Kudelka over coffee. Humor me for a moment while I gaze into my NBoC crystal ball. By the year 2015, his Nut will be 20 years old and I suspect by this time the National will find a choreographer to shape their future and yes, it will be time for a new Nut. If things don’t go well for the National, they may decide to squeeze 25 years out of it. Swan Lake, the Contract, Firebird, etc. will forever be mothballed. All they’ll keep is Cinderella, An Italian Straw Hat, and the 4 Seasons.
