How excellent for all of you in South Florida! I feel acutely envious, particularly because we in Seattle have been jilted twice in quick succession by flirtations of promises of Don Q., only to have the plans cancelled or revised: first by PNB, which promised to stage the ABT version (replaced by Ronald Hynd's version of Sleeping Beauty; aka the "old" ENB production) and then by the Bolshoi, which offered it and then withdrew it, ostensibly due to slow ticket sales in comparison to the sales for R&J. As for ABT themselves, their touring has veered toward centers where it is perceived that ticket sales will be very strong, so they have obviously identified Miami as a potentially strong market for them.
