I am sorry to hear of the passing of Todd Bolender. I had the privilege of working with Mr. Bolender when he staged his delightful "Souvenirs" for San Francisco Ballet during the 70s. I was the "Wallflower" (2nd cast). I remember enjoying working with him very much. He was a genuinely nice person. This particular cast of his "Souvenirs" was brilliant and included Tina Santos as the "Vamp" and my husband, Gardner Carlson, as the jealous husband with wife, Anita Paciotti (in the hilarious "Tea Scene"). This ballet is an American classic, and I sincerely hope it lives on. What a remarkable and talented man he was...
