Happy birthday Atlanta Ballet. Here's a review of the Anniversary performance with a lovely quote from the founder Dorothy Alexander - before a performance, she would tell her dancers, ''Forget technique. Go out there and dance with the pure love of dancing --- and of sharing."
The program included Lila York's 'Rapture' to piano music by Prokofiev, which I saw last year performed by Scottish Ballet. I'm afraid that I couldn't get on with it at all, despite some spirited dancing.

http://www.accessatlanta.com/partners/ajc/epaper/editions/
monday/features_936145a3249d5129000e.html
[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited May 08, 2000).]
