Dance School Graced With a 'Sense of History'
By Jacqueline L. Salmon for The Washington Post

The spacious facility that houses the Virginia Ballet Company on Guinea Road in Fairfax County is semi-organized chaos these days. One studio is crowded with racks of puffy, glittering tutus and gowns. The halls are jammed with black-and-pink-attired ballerinas stretching and flexing. And another studio is crammed with dancers -- rehearsing, rehearsing and rehearsing their parts for the company's full-length production of "The Sleeping Beauty" this weekend, the first such staging in 19 years.
click for more
