Pacific Northwest Ballet's co-artistic director Francia Russell said today that Noelani Pantastico and Batkhurel Bold will be promoted to Principal dancers next season and that Mara Vinson will be promoted to Soloist. I had verified that quite some time ago with two other sources, but I didn't want to say anything here until it was a little bit more "official." I'm especially pleased that Noelanie will be promoted since I've been a one-man committee lobbying for her promotion since her spectacular season last year.
