Here's a pre-performance piece on this weekend's show!
http://www.herald.com/content/today/entertainment/arts/digdocs/092541.htm

Many thanks, shag and please pass on my best wishes to David andthe rest of the Company. I see that he has taken the plunge and left San Francisco Ballet, so if i want to see him dance again (and boy, can he dance) I'm going to have to fulfill my promise and come to Miami.

We're (gulp) ready for ya, Stuart! Have a great trip.
On a related note, David's wife, Dominique Angel (formerly Miami City, Joffrey dancer) ruptured her achilles and was replaced by Marife Gimenz, most recently of MCB. Her husband, Douglas Grawaliuk was already scheduled to dance with us (they were already under contract for next season, this accelerated her debut) so we are okay. It is so frustrating to see a beautiful dancer (let me tell you, Dom's feet are some of the best!) come back from having two children to go out that way.
Anyhow, performance week is nuts around here. I'll pass on the good wishes.

Sounds exciting! I wish I could see this. But... err... visitor/s are preventing that from happening.
So, looks like David Palmer has indeed left SFB. According to my sources, who are obviously wrong, he was thinking of another season or two. Oh well. We will miss him here.

Here's one of the reviews from the show.
http://www.herald.com/content/today/entertainment/arts/digdocs/038227.htm

I love this bit "a sensual, evocative ballet". When can I see it?!! Image
