After the bad press about Jimmy Gamonet, here's a puff piece on MCB's summer program to show that that things are not all bad with the company.
http://www.herald.com/content/today/news/dade/digdocs/054249.htm

This is good. I have always heard positive reports about the training available at the School and would hope that this would remain constant despite any fluctuations in the company.

Welcome, MLynash! I see from your profile that you are affiliated with the Performing Arts Network based in Miami. That's wonderful.
Thank you Azlan,
Sorry I didn't check your posting before. I will try to be part of criticaldance postings as much as I can.

MLynash, when you have the time and the inclination, you may want to start a new topic on the Performing Arts Network. I think there are many people who would like to know about this organization and how it helps the arts community.

A friend of mine is at Miami City Ballet Summer Intensive. The school is doing Concerto Barocco and Union Jack. They are doing some other ballets, but I am not sure of their names.
Basilio17, welcome to criticaldance. Do let us know if your find out the other ballets that are being performed at the Miami Intensive Summer School. It sounds like a real privilige for your friend to be able to perform the Balanchine works with an organisation which has a fine reputation in that genre.
Hope that you enjoy criticaldance and that we hear from you regularly.
