Preston King, a professor at the University of Lancaster in Britain, will be returnin
g to the United States today. He has been in self-imposed political exile for almost four de
cades since taking an active stand against racial injustice. The King family is elated that
this matter is being brought to an end. "I'm relieved and reassured," Preston King said to C
NN earlier this week, "We've made a move to cut a certain tie with a certain part of the past
, and that's a good move to make."
__________

Alonzo King's LINES Ballet
50 Oak Street - 4th Floor
San Francisco, CA 94102
415.863.1248415.863.1180 faxwww.linesballet.orgemail:
