Image
ABT's production of Cranko's 'The Taming of the Shrew'.
Ann Kisselgoff reviews the ABT season, which she feels has gone well. I'm sure there will be some in the environs of NY, NY reaching for their shotguns, however.
She writes, 'The happiest surprise in this category was John Cranko's 1969 "Taming of the Shrew," a comic ballet low on choreographic interest but powerfully put across by Ballet Theater's casts in a company premiere.'
Not sure how long this link will last:
http://www.nytimes.com/library/dance/070200abt-dance.html

[This message has been edited by Stuart Sweeney (edited July 05, 2000).]
