Hi, all. Please find a link about this Dance Festival. The article is from a local paper and has good information about the event and also about my ballet. The picture is not so great. We're grateful to have the coverage but the local photographer refuses to allow posing; he just walks around during a run. The ballet is to the Villa-Lobos "Bachianias Brasilieras No. 5" and will be performed with live music. Please enjoy and if you're in the area, do attend! We'd love to have you there.
Do let Center know that you've seen the article on-line, so they can get a good feel for how many people do view this kind of thing. Their e-mail address it: dancentr@cen.quik.com.
One correction to the article's text is that we founded the Chehalis Ballet Center (not studio). Picky, picky... Image
Dean
Please note that you'll have to go to the "lifestyle" link, click on that, and then you'll see the article and then hit the link for that. Sorry it's not more direct.
The paper will keep up the Web site until next Monday, the 26th.
http://www.chronline.com/
------------------
Dean Speer
ballet@u.washington.edu
[This message has been edited by Dean Speer (edited March 20, 2001).]
[This message has been edited by Dean Speer (edited March 20, 2001).]

Here's the direct link to the festival page. It's a frames site Dean and the trick is to put the cursor on the text and right click. Some options come up that enable you to find the actual URL.
http://www.chronline.com/features/lifestyle/life1.html
Very best wishes for the performances.
