Sarah Kaufman bemoans the ballet programming at The Kennedy Centre in Washington.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A28046-2000May18.html

Interesting that the Kennedy Center puts the interest of the Washington Opera ahead, at the expense of ballet, considering that the Washington Opera, unless I am mistaken, is moving into new a house sometime in the next few seasons or so.
I also have to add that while the Opera House *does* feel grand and majestic, the colors are a bit too garish for me.
[This message has been edited by Azlan (edited May 26, 2000).]
