NYCB's one-time only opening night all-waltz program that was cancelled due to the musicians' strike was performed Tuesday night, 1/5/2000. Here is a link to a story: http://www.nando.net/noframes/story/0,2107,500150507-500183668-500760357-0,00.html

The NY Times policy of 'on the day only' means that these links wll not last beyond the 6th Jan. But as a reward for those who log onto the site today, I include them as they are reviews of two important companies.
The first is a second view on Azlan's posting about the NYCB waltz progrramme: http://www.nytimes.com/yr/mo/day/news/arts/waltz-review.html
And the second, a review of the Doug Varone Company on fine form http://www.nytimes.com/yr/mo/day/news/arts/polonaise-review.html
