DANCE UK DEBATE Dance & the Media
A symposium hosted by Dance UK in association with Dance Umbrella

Mon 18 Oct 4.30-6.30pm
Royal Festival Hall, Chelsfield Room (Level 5)

FREE

Does dance get its fair share of air time and column inches? Is coverage in the media representative of the range and diversity of dance or does it merely reinforce stereotypes? What impact does the media have on dance audiences and participation? Does dance need to do more to engage with TV, radio, newspapers and the web?

These questions and more will be tackled through provocative presentations and lively debate with the audience.

Attendance at the symposium is free. To book your place, call Sian Kendall on 020 7228 4990 or email sian@danceuk.org.
Places are limited, so early booking is essential.
