Post subject:  San Francisco Ballet in Beijing and Shanghai, October 2015

In San Francisco Classical Voice, Lou Fancher previews the comany's October 21-31, 2015 tour to Beijing and Shanghai. Tour programming will include Helgi Tomasson's Giselle, a mixed bill of works including Tomasson's Caprice, Christopher Wheeldon's Rush, Hans van Manen's Variations for Two Couples and Balanchine's Theme and Variations. A second mixed bill will pay tribute to principal dancer Yuan Yuan Tan and will include Tomasson's The Fifth Season, Yuri Possokhovs Bells, Jerome Robbins' In the Night and Liam Scarlett's Hummingbird.
