Hello Balletomantes, I am about to see Swan Lake by this company on 7th of may 2008.
Am I going to find this good? I am also looking at getting Sleeping Beauty too. :D

Have seen this company in the UK. They have an outstanding male dancer called Andrei Gura; was he dancing?

This is my first view of this company and I get to see them in may at the Frankston Arts Center.
Hello Cassandra!! and thanks for the warning of this dancer Andrei Gura as I will see him as I must get the book that they sell in the foyer prior to the ballet.
I am not a fan of Graham Murphy's Swan Lake as it's too modern for me as this is an classic Russian ballet made modern. YUCK!!! :o
I have some reservations for Balanchine as I find his works tasteful in a modern ballet.

I didn't think that he did Cassandra. I saw Natalia Domracheva & Viktor Ishchuk as they were the Principal dancers of the night.

I saw these dancers last night. Great!!! </center>

Swan Lake.
This is well done!!! The back drop art is well done and in the period, Costumes are just spectacular as this gives some realism if you're in the 13th 14th century, Very opulent!! :D

Sleeping Beauty.
This was also a well done ballet. :D As I cannot fault anything wrong with it so I have had two great evenings. So I would love to see more. :D
