Thanks for your note.
Even at this price, the tickets are not selling well. The company is not doing enough publicity. This report is from my connection with the reporter. I do not want people to miss out the chance to see Balanchine.
As myself, I spent two weeks in NYC for NYCB Winter Season. Great Fun.
I will go to NYC again for NYCB Spring Season. Hope I can stay longer this time, say one month

A romantic Mood Brought by the Shanghai Ballet with International Award-winning Dancers in Classics

The Shanghai Ballet will perform at Shanghai Grand Theatre La Sylphide and George Balanchine's Serenade on 27th, 28th March; Coppelia on 22nd& 23rd April. Following the welcomed performance of Swan Lake in this Spring Festival, the Shanghai Ballet will present under the theme of ROMANCE romantic ballets La Sylphide, Coppelia, and neo-classical ballet George Balanchine's Serenade. For the first time, the Shanghai Ballet’s five international award-winning dancers will jointly be present in the performances. Shanghai Ballet is doing a new full length ballet A Sigh of Love choreographed by Bertrand d’At, Artistic Director of Ballet de L ‘Opera National du Rhin. Story is set in Shanghai in 1930s. It will premiere on September 2nd.

Ballet The Butterfly Lovers Tours Back from USA

July 11, the tour team of Shanghai Ballet came back from USA.

Shanghai Ballet toured with Ballet The Butterfly Lovers in San Jose, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles from June 6 to July 11.
