As reported in the Shanghai Daily Times, the New York City Ballet will take part in The Seventh Shanghai International Arts Festival this October.

It's not clear whether this will be the entire company or smaller group of dancers...

I don't think it's correct. Shanghai Ballet will present Serenade during the festival

Hi Jeffsh! I couldn't find the official Festival website, but I did find this ticket sales list. As you say, there's no mention of NYCB:

Do you have the link for the official website? Which of the performances will you be going to ?

Stuart
I think this is the official web site.
Since there are not much choices in Shanghai. I just have to take whatever is on offer. I guess I will go to "Mulan" by Shanghai Song & Dance Ensemble and Sydney Dance Company (since the producer is a friend, needs to show my support); "Raymonda" by The Bayerische Staatsballett; maybe "La Boheme" by West Australian Ballet; "Egyptian Night" by Cairo Opera Ballet Company
I will also go to a few opera and concerts.
I am trying to bring a small group of NYCB dancers to Shanghai next year. I am working with the producer of Mulan (who also produced acrobatic version of Swan Lake). keep fingure crossed. hope we can pull this off
Jeff
