Ballet company glides toward future "Allure: Four Colors of Modern Ballet" features a quartet of distinctive voices in contemporary ballet that come together to say that one Korean dance company is refusing to be complacent.
This weekend, the LG Arts Center is presenting leading works by choreographers Nacho Duato, Heinz Spoerli, Hong Sung-yop, and Yu Byung-hun performed by the Universal Ballet.
The largest independent dance company in Korea, the Universal Ballet's roots are firmly set in the classical tradition with pieces such as "Romeo and Juliet" and "The Nutcracker" serving as the backbone of their season repertoire.
