<B>Wellington Dance: High-energy displays show formidable talent</B>

Thirty-five years on from its 1967 birth, the New Zealand School of Dance is turning out a marvellous array of classical and contemporary dancers, with many showing great proficiency in both disciplines.

Of the nine works used in the two alternating programmes (of seven works each), four are world premieres. Two are choreographed by graduates Daniel Belton (Foil) and Shona McCullagh (Shodding) while the other two, Sharing Breath and A Man Gambling (Programe B only) are created by award-winning Australian choreographer Leigh Warren.
